L’exposition «Japan, my love» est sobre en couleurs, composée de bleu cobalt et de turquoise sur des supports beiges et blancs. Dix huiles récentes sur toile de lin brut de 146 cm par 97 cm sont présentées à la galerie, ainsi que deux installations sur toile d’avion rétro éclairées.

The Gallery Itsutsuji is pleased to invite you to the 5th one-person exhibition by the artist Guillaume Bottazzi.at the gallery..Ten recent oil paintings on raw linen canvas, or on fabric, of 146cm x 97cm are shown, together with two backlit installations on aircraft canvas.

This major Japanese gallery has enabled him to establish his style through several commissions for artworks. The Gallery Itsutsuji has introduced movements such as the Supports / Surfaces group, and artists such as Claude Viallat, Louis Cane, Daniel Dezeuze, Jean-Pierre Pincemin, and other as Pierre Buraglio, François Rouan, Jean-Michel Meurice, Simon Hantaï and Pierre Soulages.

“I find my own rhythm when I’m painting, in harmony with the elements around me and with the beating of my heart. My senses and my mind are in harmony, art is sublimation. My work has continued to evolve, inspired by the Land of the Rising Sun. I’ve done away with my shapes, I’ve removed layers of paint, I’ve removed the primer protecting the canvas.
