It’s the middle of May, so you know what that means: Le French May 2016 is in full swing,

with over 120 cultural programs, events and exhibitions in the calendar. Among them is a

debut appearance in Hong Kong by French visual artist Guillaume Bottazzi, who is

showcasing his Wonderland exhibition from May 21-June 5, 2016, in an unusual

place: the Hong Kong Central Library.

Established in 1993, Le French May is one of the largest cultural events in Asia. With more than 120 programmes presented across two months, it has become an iconic part of Hong Kong’s cultural scene that reach out over 1 million visitors each year.

1993年首辦的法國五月藝術節，是亞洲最大型的文化盛事之一。每年五至六月，法國五月均會於兩個月內舉辦超過120場文化活動，吸引逾一百萬人參與；在文化藝術發展蓬勃的香港，法國五月藝術節已是一項年度主要盛事。

A cette occasion, 23 peintures récentes seront présentées, dont des œuvres de 3 mètres par 2 mètres et de 2 mètres par 2 mètres...

國五月2016」隆重推出：「紀堯姆．波塔茲 - - 仙境」展覽此次展覽邀請觀眾領略幻境，一個需要釋放想像與創造力的世界。面對當今世界的重重困境, 紀堯姆．波塔茲的作品帶給我們愉悅與幸福引我們在他處汲取新源泉。首度在港舉辦的展覽： 2016年5月21日至6月5日，香港中央圖書館舉辦紀堯姆．波塔茲作品在港首次公開展覽。展館面積達565平方米。此次將展覽這位藝術家的23幅近作，其中包括若干3米乘2米和2米乘2米巨幅作品。觀眾不僅將欣賞到布面油畫，亦可領略織物底細石膏作品。此外還將舉辦以「共存」為主題的工作坊。
