In a statement, the organizers of Le French May 2016 said they hope the show will “induce visitors to evolve in an unreal world, a world which will call upon our imagination and our creativity.”

Bottazzi’s paintings are accompanied in the show by images of his public artworks. One highlight is a collection of photos of “Hope,” a 900-square-meter mural commissioned by the Miyanomori International Museum of Art in Sapporo, Japan. The artist began painting “Hope” just eight months after the devastating 2011 Tōhoku earthquake, and its colorful abstract shapes represent an attempt to make a joyful, hopeful addition to the city....

The neuroscientists Helmut Leder and Marcos Nadal from the University of Vienna reveal the effects that my works have on you as an individual.

Helmut Leder and Marcos Nadal are the authors of a paper entitled “The effects of art on the brain” covering ten years of research. Leder and Nadal’s study helps us understand what happens inside us when we view my works, how they bring pleasure and contribute to our sense of well-being.

A cette occasion, 23 peintures récentes seront présentées, dont des œuvres de 3 mètres par 2 mètres et de 2 mètres par 2 mètres...

國五月2016」隆重推出：「紀堯姆．波塔茲 - - 仙境」展覽此次展覽邀請觀眾領略幻境，一個需要釋放想像與創造力的世界。面對當今世界的重重困境, 紀堯姆．波塔茲的作品帶給我們愉悅與幸福引我們在他處汲取新源泉。首度在港舉辦的展覽： 2016年5月21日至6月5日，香港中央圖書館舉辦紀堯姆．波塔茲作品在港首次公開展覽。展館面積達565平方米。此次將展覽這位藝術家的23幅近作，其中包括若干3米乘2米和2米乘2米巨幅作品。觀眾不僅將欣賞到布面油畫，亦可領略織物底細石膏作品。此外還將舉辦以「共存」為主題的工作坊。
